Fishing Wars launched on Roblox around 31 August 2026, so the code scene is still forming. This hub is the living list for in-game promo codes, the separate Star Code STEAK used on Roblox purchases, and the exact places to watch when YouTuber Steak or the BIG GIANT FOOD group drops a new string.
Do not mix those two systems. An in-game code is typed inside Fishing Wars and grants coins, luck, boat parts, or aquarium boosts. Star Code STEAK is typed on the Roblox website or app when you buy Robux and supports Steak as a creator. Putting STEAK into a Fishing Wars text box will usually fail, and putting an in-game string into the Roblox Star Code field will also fail.
Active in-game codes
As of the first days after release, no public in-game promo list has been independently confirmed. Steak’s launch streams and the Roblox game page did not pin a working table of strings such as RELEASE or FISHINGWARS. Treat any random code dump on social media as unverified until it works in your own client.

If you test a leaked string, type it exactly (codes are often case-sensitive), redeem once, and ignore copies that add spaces or extra punctuation.
Where new codes appear
Steak posts on YouTube, Discord, and the Roblox group more than on a dedicated Trello. Watch these channels after likes milestones, visit milestones, or apology patches:

Star Code STEAK
Steak’s creator Star Code is STEAK. Use it only on Roblox checkout for Robux or eligible items. It does not fill your aquarium, spawn a turret, or skip Fisherman Joe’s tutorial. Full notes live on the Star Code STEAK page so you do not burn a gift attempt on the wrong box.
Why codes matter in week one
Fishing Wars is a grind of boat trips, drop-offs, and aquarium levels. A small cash or luck gift at level 1–5 is the difference between a slow dock loop and your first turret. Codes will not replace upgrade order, but they compress the painful early hours when sharks and pirates already outgun a starter hull.
If you are brand new, claim whatever is active, then follow getting started and how to fish so the extra coins go into aquarium levels instead of cosmetic noise.
Expired and fake codes
Launch-week fakes already circulate: copy-paste lists recycled from Fisch, Fishing Simulator, or Flag Wars. Those games are unrelated. If a site shows twenty “Fishing Wars” codes on day two, assume they are scraped from another title until you see the reward toast in this client.
Expired strings will move to expired codes. Never keep redeeming a dead code hoping it rolls over.
