Guides Hub

This hub is the map of every Fishing Wars walkthrough on the wiki. The game looks simple from the dock — spawn boat, catch fish, dump them in a tank — but the loop hides boat capacity, idle aquarium cash, pirate ambushes, and a Kraken that lives in the deep. Use the pages below in order if you just spawned. Jump by keyword if you already sank once.

Start here

  • Getting started — Fisherman Joe, first boat, first drop-off, what to buy with the first coins.
  • How to play — controls, HUD, server size, and the five-minute loop you should memorize.
  • How to fish — mythical spots, legendary targets, boat space, and when to abort a trip.
  • Map — dock ring, coral ocean, volcano landmark, and why deeper water is more expensive.
  • Make money — collect pad idle cash and the upgrade order that actually prints.

Steak’s own leak streams show the tutorial beat for beat: Joe in the corner, spawn boat, drive to a glowing mythical marker, fight if pirates spawn, then return. The getting started page is written against that footage plus the live [RELEASE] place.

Money and the tank

  • Aquarium guide — walk-in tank, collect pad, which fish to keep, which to sell in spirit by swapping for better rarities.
  • Upgrade order — aquarium vs boat speed vs health vs turret so you do not stall at level 5.

Fish sitting in the aquarium print cash. That is the idle layer. Combat is how you lose the idle layer. If you skip the tank and only chase PvP, you will be broke when a shark deletes your hull.

Combat and bosses

  • Boats and PvP — turrets, ramming, stealing pressure on high-value cargo, orange hovercraft vs wooden hulls.
  • Kraken and beasts — pirates, sharks, Loch Ness, and the official Kraken warning from the Roblox description.

Official thumbnails put two armed boats over a teal-and-magenta Kraken. That is not marketing fluff. The description says the Kraken lurks in the deepest parts of the ocean. Do not go there in a naked starter boat.

Rankings and people

Pair these guides with the fish tier list and boat tier list so you know which catch is worth a death. The Steak page explains who is patching the game and where he streams bans. If you are still deciding whether to favorite the place, the review is the first-week read.

How this wiki writes guides

Every guide page holds at most one YouTube embed, placed mid-article. Videos are real Steak or community uploads, not invented IDs. When two videos repeat the same leak, we keep one. Facts that are still fuzzy in week one — exact fish names beyond Loch Ness, Kraken, sharks, and pirates — are labelled as launch-week observations instead of fake indexes.

If you only open one page after this hub, open getting started. If you already have a turret and keep dying on the way home, open boats and PvP and how to fish for cargo rules.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Which guide should I read first?

Getting started, then how to play. Combat pages can wait until you have a turret.

Is there a full fish index yet?

Not a complete official dex. Use the fish tier list for rarity bands and named threats confirmed in footage.

Do guides include videos?

Yes, one real YouTube video per page in the middle of the article. The hub itself stays as a map of links.

Where do I go after the tutorial?

Run the aquarium loop, then follow upgrade order before you hunt the Kraken.
