Fishing Wars Map
Read the ocean as rings of danger, not as a pretty loading screen.
Fishing Wars does not ship a public Trello of biomes. What it does ship is an ocean you can learn in an hour if you stop treating every splash as a quest marker. Steak rebuilt the map before 31 August 2026: underwater coral you can see from a boat, a dock-and-aquarium start, glowing mythical spots, and a giant volcano on the far horizon. This page is the geography of that live [RELEASE] place, written against the leak VODs and the official Roblox description.
If you have not spawned yet, finish getting started first. The map only matters once you have a boat and a reason to come home.
The dock is the only safe ring
You spawn on boards beside your aquarium. Fisherman Joe stands in the corner. The collect pad is a few steps away. Other players share the same eight-person server, but they cannot walk into your tank and yoink display fish — Steak was explicit that this is not a steal tycoon. What they can do is sit in a hovercraft just off the dock and farm people who leave with a legendary and no turret.
Treat the dock as:
- Tutorial, vendor, and bank
- The only place the idle loop works (make money and aquarium)
- A heading you should be able to find without the mini-map if the HUD glitches
Do not AFK on the water thinking the dock will come to you.
Ring one: short mythical spots
Joe’s first marker is a classroom, not an endgame. Drive there, land a catch, turn around. Community speedruns to aquarium level 15 keep repeating the same rule: boat space is the real resource. Filling the hold with commons on ring one is how you fail the trip before pirates even spawn.
What ring one is for:
- Learning cast / reel on this client
- Confirming you can extract without dying
- Feeding the tank so the pad prints while you upgrade
What ring one is not for: hunting Loch Ness because a thumbnail looked cool. That silhouette belongs farther out. Details live in how to fish.
Ring two: contested water
Push past the first marker and the map starts doing its job. Other boats appear. Mythical spots overlap. Pirates can spawn mid-cast — Steak’s own demo gets jumped while he is still proud of a bite. Sharks punish people who AFK on a bobber.
Read the water as PvP terrain:
- Orange hovercraft are fast and usually armed
- Wooden hulls with deck guns hit harder than they look
- A full hold makes you a loot pinata even if the game is not a plot-steal tycoon
Fit speed, then health, then a turret before you live here. Boat PvP is the combat manual for this ring.
Ring three: deep ocean and the Kraken
Official copy: the Kraken lurks in the deepest parts of the ocean; the battle will be brutal; the rewards are worth it. Official art: teal body, magenta suckers, two gun boats on the surface. Steak’s leaks add sharks, pirate ships, and a Loch Ness-class extract.
Distance is the difficulty slider. If your hull is still the tutorial boat, you do not have a Kraken problem. You have an upgrade problem. Prep on Kraken and beasts and upgrade order before you treat the volcano as a waypoint.
The volcano
The redesigned map ends with a giant volcano. Steak teases it; he does not publish a public dungeon journal. Until a patch notes a volcano event, treat it as a landmark:
- A heading for deep-water trips
- A reminder you are far from the pad
- Not a reason to skip Joe
If a Discord rumor says the volcano “is the Kraken lair,” wait for the live place to agree. This wiki does not invent Fisch-style hunt tables and paste them onto Steak’s ocean.
Coral, not a second biome
Underwater coral is visible while you boat. It is atmosphere and a way to tell you are on the rebuilt map, not the June facing. You do not dismount and walk a coral trail for a secret rod. Stay in the boat. Cast from the boat. Fight from the boat.
How to navigate without a dex
- Leave the dock with empty-enough cargo for the fish you actually want.
- Drive to the nearest marker you can extract from.
- Watch for pirate sails and player wakes before you commit a long reel.
- The moment the hold is valuable, the dock is the objective.
- Only then extend one ring farther.
The how to play page covers WASD, spawn, and HUD. This page is the why: every extra second of commute is a chance for a shark or a hovercraft to tax you.

Pair the map with make money so you know why coming home matters, and with the fish tier list so you know which silhouette is worth a death. If you only wanted a pretty screenshot, the Roblox gallery already has the Kraken and the sea serpent. The playable map is the commute between those pictures and Joe’s pad.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Is there an official Fishing Wars Trello or map image?
None we can verify. Use this page, the live ocean, and Steak's leak VODs. Ignore Fisch atlases with the same words.
Where is the Kraken?
Deep ocean, per the official Roblox description. See Kraken and beasts. Do not hunt it on a starter hull.
What is the volcano for?
A far-map landmark on the redesigned ocean. Steak has not published a public volcano event journal. Treat it as a heading, not a free legendary.
Can I explore underwater on foot?
Coral is visible from the boat. Your walk-in tank is the aquarium, not a second open-world biome. Stay mounted.
